The role will be split across 2 days’ a week seconded into one of the world’s largest technology companies, combined with 3 days’ a week supporting on a wide range of projects across the world’s leading organisations. The role will include the opportunity to travel the breadth of Australia, New Zealand and beyond to help solve some of the most challenging safety and sustainability issues that our Clients face globally. We are looking for a candidate who has a degree related to work place health & safety (or equivalent industry experience), who is interested in delivering a wide range of health & safety and environment (HSE) advice to our Clients including systems, risk management, due diligence and EHS compliance. Responsibilities Split across 2 days per week seconded into one of the world’s largest technology companies and 3 days per week supporting a wide range of projects across leading organisations. Travel across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond to address safety and sustainability challenges for clients. Deliver health & safety and environment (HSE) advice to clients, including systems, risk management, due diligence, and EHS compliance. Qualifications & Attributes Tertiary education in workplace health and safety, a related degree, or a Master’s degree/other recognised qualification in a safety-related field. Equivalent industry experience may be accepted, however a university degree is essential. Candidates with Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) or higher Department of Defence clearance will be heavily favoured, however this is not essential for the right candidate. Recent graduate to 3 years of experience or looking for a career change from industry. Enthusiastic and driven with the ability to be agile and innovative. Strong commitment to safety; ability to follow established health and safety protocols. Excellent written and verbal communication; organizational and analytical skills; ability to process and analyse technical data and prepare reports. Ability to confidently engage and consult with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to succeed in a consulting environment, handle multiple project assignments and meet strict deadlines. Dependable, with integrity, respect, positive outlook, and customer focus. Ability to work as a team player.
