Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Fellow (Grade 2) to join our collaborative and multidisciplinary team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful research projects focused on identifying biomarkers and understanding the physiological mechanisms underlying ME/CFS, Long COVID and GWI. As a member of the NCNED team, you will work closely with the Centre Director, team leaders, and students, and play a key role in the design, implementation, and dissemination of research findings. Key Responsibilities Contribute to research projects through experiment design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation. Prepare research publications, reports, and presentations. Assist with grant applications and funding proposals. Supervise and support junior researchers and students. Actively contribute to the academic life of the NCNED and broader Griffith Health community. Participate in sample collection, including offsite visits. Ensure compliance with university policies, ethical research practices, and workplace health and safety standards. This is a fixed term (2 years), full time position primarily based at Gold Coast. Salary Range The full time equivalent base salary will be Research Fellow Grade 2 range $113,226 - $134,460 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $132,474 - $157,318 per annum.
