In this role you will: Drive the implementation of effective employee performance and conduct strategy across the department, including the development and implementation of employee performance and conduct, regarding sexual harassment and related unlawful conduct. Provide policy direction and strategic advice and coaching to senior and executive leadership on a diverse range of contemporary employee performance and conduct issues, regarding sexual harassment and related unlawful conduct. Lead a high performing Performance and Conduct team, ensuring professional development and succession planning to provide QCS with continuity and quality assurance of specialist advice and coaching services regarding employee performance and conduct. Implement strategies to ensure team members research and maintain contemporary knowledge of continually evolving public sector employee performance and conduct issues, risks and responses. Lead the delivery of consultancy services to build organisational capability and improve the fairness and transparency of decisions in relation to employee performance and conduct, for matters referred to Policy and Legal Command. Work in partnership with the Workplace Law Group, People Culture and Capability Command, and the Professional Standards and Governance Command and their respective teams to collaborate and deliver on people and workforce management strategies and programs to support and enable QCS to meet its strategic and operational objectives regarding employee performance and conduct. Build organisational awareness and knowledge of employee performance and conduct best practice, risks and responses through the provision of quality advice, development of practice notes and effective communication and engagement with leaders, managers and HR practitioners throughout QCS, regarding sexual harassment and related unlawful conduct. Develop and maintain effective relationships with unions and central agencies to influence whole of government policy and to shape strategies affecting the QCS workforce, in respect of sexual harassment and related unlawful conduct. Negotiate with unions in relation to specific employee performance and conduct matters where appropriate, in respect of sexual harassment and related unlawful conduct. Provide timely advice in response to sensitive emerging employee performance and conduct matters, including through the development of oral and written submissions, briefings, correspondence and reports, for matters referred to Policy and Legal Command. As required, manage and/or represent QCS in industrial tribunals, including advocating the agency's position regarding individual employee matters brought before the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission regarding sexual harassment, bullying and discrimination. Design and implement strategies in consultation with stakeholders including the Office of the Commissioner and Minister's Office, to improve the employee performance and conduct resources, policies and initiatives, in respect of sexual harassment and related unlawful conduct.
