To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Software Engineer. About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Software Engineer for our business located in Hobart. This is your opportunity to become a vital member of the team in a collaborative and supportive manner. It is a full-time role. Responsibilities Analyzing user requirements, designing robust software architectures, and writing high-quality, maintainable code in relevant programming languages Researching, consulting, and evaluating software and system programs to identify enhancements. Designing and developing software architecture, components, modules, and interfaces. Providing technical solutions in terms of code, design, and industry best practices to ensure a quality product. Overseeing the complete development life cycle of systems from requirement gathering, software designing to deployment, and testing Writing operational and software documentation necessary for the application from a technical standpoint. Maintaining and upgrading existing software systems to improve performance, reliability, and security. Staying up to date with emerging technologies, programming trends, and industry best practices. Qualifications & Skills A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related discipline A minimum of 5 years’ years development experience as software engineer Proficiency in programming languages including, but not limited to C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python Understanding and experience with current code repositories such as TFS, GitHub etc Ability to work collaboratively across teams and excellent problem-solving skills
