SUMMARY The Demand Planning Advisor will support the Supply Chain team with demand planning, forecasting, customer collaboration, and supply chain coordination, playing a key role in the supply chain’s overall performance. With guidance from the Sr. Supply Chain Manager, Global Demand & CS – OTR, the Demand Planning Advisor will support continuous improvement with the Demand Planning and Inventory processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Complete demand planning tasks and functions on monthly basis to capture all demand from regional team and understand drivers Maintain a consistent relationship with the regional teams to understand the demand forecasting drivers Monitor, in conjunction with sales team, to ensure that customer requirements are in place to support demand plan – Purchase orders, payment, required delivery details to support order fulfilment Collaborate with customers to enhance forecast and demand accuracy. Assist in the development, implementation, analysis, and coordination of the S&OP meetings providing KPI and analysis on: Demand changes and summaries, Forecast Accuracy, Stock Quality, Actions for Inventory Optimization Challenge the forecasts from the sales teams (leveraging historical data, seasonality, market trends, special offers, budgets, etc.) with relevant data analysis Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing trends Discuss forecast trends with regional teams identifying and understanding root causes for demand pattern change and leading the update in forecasting and planning systems Develop and maintain relevant reports pertaining to the demand planning process Reporting and tracking the status of stock levels as well as the efficiency of commercial actions on slow movers, excess and obsolete Support the development of programs for digitalization and continuous improvement in demand definition and stock management Support inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy; investigate & reconcile discrepancies. JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Skills, Competencies) Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Commerce or Engineering with 2 years of experience in supply chain or planning role. Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, data analysis) Knowledge of BI tools, ERP systems, forecasting tools Forecasting & inventory management techniques are a plus Excellent analytical skills Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Possess the right to work in full time capacity in Australia LANGUAGE SKILLS Fluent in English
