About the Role: Reporting to the Manager Content, the Communications Coordinator plays a role in delivering internal communications and supporting marketing campaigns for SCCWA. This is a hands-on role that focuses on the execution of communication activities, including but not limited to internal newsletters, marketing collateral, and targeted communication campaigns. A key accountability will be the delivery of infection control communications to ensure clear, consistent, and timely messaging across the organisation. This position is located at our central office in Rivervale with the option to work from home two days per week. We’ll be asking you to: Support the implementation of staff newsletters, intranet updates, presentations and other staff-facing content. Campaign support – support in the implementation of marketing and communication campaigns that promote SCCWA services, initiatives, and events. Infection control communications – deliver accurate, timely, and consistent infection prevention and control messaging. Content production – draft engaging content across newsletters, intranet, email, and other platforms. Publications support – assist with the production and distribution of organisational newsletters, reports and other publications. Content support - Assist with photography/videography requirements including organising shoots, coordinating approvals and uploading them to the centralised database Collaboration – work closely with the Content Coordinator and Marketing Team to ensure consistency and alignment of messaging. General support – provide additional communications assistance as directed by the Manager Content including participating in the content team communications 24/7 on-call roster to deal with community and stakeholder issues out of hour About you: The ideal candidate would have experience in a health, aged care or not-for-profit setting. Formal qualifications in Communications, Marketing, and Public Relations or related field.
