About the role On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a dedicated, self-driven and highly organized Gardener to be part of their growing team. You will be responsible for general garden maintenance including mowing, edging, hedge trimming, pruning, weeding, mulching, and planting. Duties and Responsibilities Perform general garden maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, mulching, and hedge trimming. Plant, cultivate, and maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants. Prepare and improve soil through fertilising, aerating, and conditioning. Monitor and treat plants for pests, weeds, and diseases using safe methods. Install, operate, and maintain irrigation and watering systems. Assist with landscape construction tasks such as turf laying, paving, or minor retaining works. Operate and maintain gardening tools, machinery, and equipment safely. Maintain garden aesthetics through seasonal planting and design upkeep. Ensure worksites remain safe, tidy, and compliant with WHS standards. Liaise with supervisors and clients to ensure work is completed to high standards. Essential Skills Strong plant knowledge, including care, maintenance, and seasonal requirements. Competency in operating and maintaining gardening machinery and equipment. Ability to identify and treat common garden pests, weeds, and diseases. Knowledge of irrigation systems and water-efficient garden care. High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
