Your role at St John of God Healthcare at Home We are seeking applications for Clinical Nurse Specialist (Oncology) to join our Healthcare at Home team, on a permanent part-time basis. This role will be based between Mt Lawley and Murdoch bases working 3 days per week (hours & days negotiable). The Clinical Nurse Specialist - Healthcare at Home (HAH) is responsible for the promotion and maintenance of clinical standards to ensure the delivery of patient centred care and to achieve optimal patient outcomes within allocated resources whilst supporting and promoting the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care (SJGHC). The Position Promotes and maintains responsibility for professional practice standards to ensure the safe delivery of quality patient care. Leads and facilitates coordination of service within defined specialty. Maintains responsibility for clinical excellence and patient experience within area of specialty, including development of clinical policies and procedures and monitoring and review of patient outcomes. Acts as a clinical resource for all nursing, and where appropriate, other caregivers. Liaises with Nurse Managers, Team Leaders, and the multidisciplinary care team to provide advice/support in the assessment and management of patients. Contributes to identification and analysis of trends and issues as they affect clinical practice, undertakes investigations and implements practice changes as required. You will be a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse who is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing. The ideal candidate will have advanced clinical skills within Oncology and demonstrate strong clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary team environment. Successful applicants must hold a current National Police Check and WA drivers license. Ideally you will hold a post graduate certification within Cancer Nursing.
