A new position has become available in their Burnley corporate office for a Transport Coordinator within the outbound transport division. About the role As the Transport Coordinator, you will be the key point of contact between drivers, clients, and internal teams. You'll be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day logistics activities including scheduling deliveries, monitoring routes, and ensuring that transport operations run smoothly and on time. Key Responsibilities: Route and allocate delivery runs Provide track and trace updates Communicate with drivers, customers, and team members to ensure timely deliveries and resolve issues Update and maintain accurate records of transport activities Monitor compliance with safety standards, company policies, and legal requirements Problem solving and driver support About you Proven experience in transport allocation / scheduling Understanding of timber and hardware home delivery sector Excellent verbal and written communication Freight Management system Customer-facing logistics/distribution experience Strong computer and time management skills Clear communication and interpersonal skills What's in it for you?
