About the Role ALS Food & Pharmaceutical Division operates a state-of-the-art analytical laboratory in Rydalmere, NSW, serving a diverse client base. We are seeking a full-time Courier/Sampler to join our dedicated Client Services team, committed to delivering high-quality results consistently and on time. In this role, you will manage client pick-up requests primarily in the Sydney metro area, with occasional longer trips. You will assist in processing water and air samples in the lab and ensure their timely return, all while maintaining a professional approach. We value self-management, logical mind-set, and strong common sense. The role requires general physical fitness, the ability to lift up to 15kg, and a clean driver’s license. The role requires flexibility, although the standard hours are 7:00 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday to Friday, and potential overtime as needed. Day to Day Client focus – organising your daily work to achieve the best outcome for our customers. Driving a company vehicle to collect samples from client sites and pickup locations. Completing courier schedules safely and on time. Adapting to unplanned changes in courier run to meet ad hoc client requests. Conducting sampling according to defined procedures and to schedule. Our Requirements Experience as a Courier / Driver. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Cooling Tower sampling experience preferred. Knowledge of air and water sampling preferred. Ability to plan and execute the logistics of the day, with sound time management. Flexibility in responding to ad hoc changes in task or schedules. Committed to the team while able to work autonomously. A clear understanding of safety principles and a commitment to safe working. Current NSW Drivers Licence - current RMS driving record will be required. Manual lifting of up to 15kg.
