About the role: The Technical Lead (Trading & Operations) collaborates with developers, business analysts, architects, product owners, and scrum master’s to deliver high-quality solutions. Shape the solution architecture direction and overseeing the daily activities of a development squad, ensuring adherence to industry best practices. Responsibilities include: Lead the development of high-quality solutions aligned with top-tier architecture standards Contribute significantly to the continuous improvement of the solution architecture in the Trading domain aligning with the strategic vision of the organisation Drive and ensure a test-driven and quality-led culture by building systems that prove their correctness using tools such as TDD, BDD, CI/CD and automation Collaborate with operations and platform teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems Provide leadership and mentorship, influencing both project success and the professional growth of the team Where required, participate in after-hours support roster providing 24/7 coverage for critical systems Be Impactful when you are applying: You will have experience delivering quality solutions in large software development teams & exposure to Agile or DevOps delivery environments in both general and technology-specific applications. Also, you will have some of the following competencies; Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems or formal training through a focused, reputable provider (eg. General Assembly) Minimum of 10 years in developing solutions using the specified capabilities (Desirable). Experience leading teams of developers (delivery or people leadership).
