Gondwana Gardens and Lawns is a growing mowing and gardening business dedicated to providing high-quality lawn care and garden maintenance services to residential and commercial clients in Lismore and the surrounding areas. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Team Member to join our expanding team. Job Title: Team Member - Mowing & Gardening Key Responsibilities: Perform a range of mowing services, including operating various types of mowers (e.g., push mowers, ride-on mowers, zero-turn mowers). Carry out general gardening tasks such as weeding, pruning, hedging, planting, mulching, and garden clean-ups. Operate and maintain various gardening tools and equipment safely and effectively (e.g., trimmers, edgers, blowers, chainsaws). Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting client expectations and company quality standards within the Lismore region. Follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicles and equipment. Communicate effectively with team members and occasionally with clients in a professional and courteous manner within the Lismore community. Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials. Potentially assist with other related tasks as required by the business in the Lismore area. Essential Requirements: Valid Manual Driver's Licence. Demonstrated experience in mowing and general gardening. Proven ability to safely and effectively operate zero-turn mowers. Ability to use and maintain various gardening tools and equipment. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Good physical fitness and stamina to perform the demands of the role in the Lismore climate. Commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Desirable Skills/Experience: Formal horticultural qualifications or relevant certifications. Experience with specific gardening techniques or equipment common in the Lismore region. Customer service experience. First Aid certification. * Experience towing trailers.
