About the role Based at our Site Office located five minutes north of Nimbin, you’ll be contributing to the delivery of the Lismore Roads Reconstruction Program (LRRP) following the 2022 floods. This is a staged program over approximately three years and the scope covers more than 60 damage sites, mostly slope remediation to stabilise landslip-affected regional and local roads. This sits within Australia’s largest council-delivered flood recovery portfolio, which also includes restoration of bridges, water and wastewater assets, waste facilities, flood mitigation works, and public buildings. Your hours will be 7 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday and you will be responsible for your project’s administration, reporting, timesheets, purchase orders, reconciling invoices, travel bookings, and end-of-month functions. Tasks & Responsibilities: Collecting, scanning, filing, and distributing paperwork; Data Entry; Invoice and docket matching; Generating purchase orders; Handling correspondence; Maintaining registers; Timesheet entry; Travel and accommodation bookings; General Administration duties; Responding to phone and email queries; Assisting the project team as required. About you If this describes you, we’d love to hear from you. Currently living a commutable distance to Nimbin; Recent experience of office-based and/or on-site project delivery; Experience with the processing and collating of timesheets; A minimum of 12 months experience preparing and reconciling purchase orders, invoicing, and end-of-month reporting; Ideally, holding a relevant Business Administration qualification (Cert III/Cert IV/Diploma); A true team player with excellent time management skills and a can-do attitude; Have the ability to facilitate strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders; Enjoys and thrives working in a busy team environment; Good working knowledge of the Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, Outlook) and Microsoft Teams; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong attention to detail; A current open driver’s licence.
