About the role Based on a 2:2 FIFO roster ex Perth, the Project Engineer will support the delivery of major mining projects, assisting in all facets of project execution. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure high standards of technical, planning, and compliance work, while contributing to safe, efficient, and timely project outcomes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Manage subcontractors, develop scopes of work, and support project planning. Assist with project schedules, progress reporting, and forward planning to minimise delays. Prepare and maintain documentation to ensure compliance with standards, client requirements, and project procedures. Support procurement, material management, and the management of Technical Queries/RFIs. Assist construction teams with work packs, permits, lifting operations, and field coordination. Promote HSEQ compliance and contribute to a safe, quality-driven project culture. About you Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering. 3 years’ experience in project engineering within mining or heavy industry. Knowledge of Mining Standards, brownfield construction, and structural integrity works. Experience managing subcontractors and preparing quality documentation (ITPs, ITRs, FICs). Comfortable on remote or metropolitan sites, with strong attention to detail. Team player with proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and standard project software.
