About the role An exciting opportunity for an experienced remuneration or HR analytics professional with advanced Excel/PowerQuery NV1 security clearance is mandatory. About the client Our client is a respected Federal Government agency with a global footprint, supporting Australia's engagement across more than 100 international locations. Their work ensures remuneration and employment frameworks are fair, defensible, and strategically aligned, even in complex environments. Key responsibilities Conduct annual reviews of remuneration (salary and benefits) across 100 overseas missions Apply actuarial data and market intelligence to determine salary adjustments Maintain and enhance the Excel-based remuneration model (incl. PowerQuery) Perform annual rollovers, remap connections, validate formulas, and improve usability Ensure completeness and accuracy of data, with clear documentation for audit and approvals Procure and integrate market remuneration data; liaise with external providers Manage global remuneration surveys; track and validate returns Provide high-quality advice on remuneration strategy, QA, and risk management Collaborate with overseas posts and internal teams to incorporate local context Represent the organisation in engagements with external providers What you'll bring Experience in remuneration, compensation & benefits, or HR analytics Advanced Excel (pivot tables, modelling, lookups); PowerQuery desirable Knowledge of remuneration survey providers (Mercer, WTW, Hay or similar) Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to present complex data clearly NV1 security clearance (or eligibility to obtain) What's on offer 12-month contract, with potential extensions (up to 2 × 12 months) EL1-equivalent role, $78-88/hr super Work directly on projects with national and global impact Structured work rhythm with weekly governance meetings and clear deliverables How to Apply This is an initial 12 month, full-time role working normal business hours, looking to start in October.
