About the Opportunities Two exciting AHP2 Speech Pathologist roles await at Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre. Each is 0.4 FTE and may be offered separately or combined into a single 0.8 FTE position. Working within supportive multi-disciplinary teams, you’ll provide high-quality communication and swallowing services to adults in transitional care, sub-acute and geriatric settings. With scope to practise at an advanced level, you’ll contribute to best-practice service delivery through quality improvement and planning initiatives. As an experienced clinician, you’ll deliver outstanding mainly inpatient, mentor early-career speech pathologists and allied health assistants, and champion service excellence across CALHN sites. Whether you take one role or both, you’ll join a dynamic network dedicated to seamless, safe and connected healthcare—making a tangible difference to patient outcomes every day. About You You are a qualified and compassionate Speech Pathologist who thrives in a multi-disciplinary setting and is committed to person-centred, evidence-based care. Your clinical skill, professional judgement and dedication to growth ensure meaningful results for patients with complex communication and swallowing needs. Qualified & Registered: Degree in Speech Pathology (or equivalent) with eligibility for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia. Clinical Expertise: Skilled in assessing and managing dysphagia, cognitive and communication disorders, with experience across acute, ambulatory or rehabilitation settings. Team-Focused Leader: Works independently while mentoring junior staff, fostering inclusion, critical thinking and respectful collaboration. Organised & Adaptable: Excels in prioritising caseloads, maintaining accurate records and responding creatively to evolving service needs.
