The Opportunity This is a great opportunity for an experienced Production Manager or well-established Technical Director looking for the next step in their career. The role offers a mix of office based 9-5 work managing the team with the opportunity to keep your hands on the tools and step in to lead our most complex projects or TD the occasional show when demand requires. You will be responsible for our Melbourne, Perth & Adelaide Production Teams which are comprised of our most senior technical experts, Technical Directors. You will be responsible for driving your team to ensure the successful execution of events in a structured, consistent manner from a technical perspective. You will also act as a technical advisor/expert across the Southwest region of the business. Core Responsibilities Drive and oversee the production team Act as technical expert and advisor for direct reports and across the business Liaise with sales teams regarding upcoming events, allocate resources and provide technical support and advice Monitor pre-production process to ensure consistent and successful delivery of events Advise on the purchase of technical equipment to ensure alignment between customer requirements and technical capability and efficiency Participate in weekly WIP meetings with crewing, operations, sales and production to analyse upcoming fortnightly events Contribute to our risk management programs and ensure compliance from the production team Support our technical training programs Your Background Prior experience in production and project management Relevant experience in all aspects of AV Excellent planning, organisational, time management skills Ability to lead and develop teams Why Join Us?
