In this role, you will lead the CBD work team to deliver high-quality cleaning and gardening maintenance across the Todd Mall, Civic Centre, and surrounding areas. The position offers opportunities for weekend work and involvement in special events, with extra pay for hours outside the ordinary, as outlined in the current Alice Springs Town Council (ASTC) Enterprise Agreement. Click here for the Position Description Applications are invited and will be considered until the position is successfully filled Skills And Experiences What You Will Bring: You will bring strong team coordination skills and the ability to independently manage parks and gardens maintenance tasks, including mowing, fertilizing, trimming, edging, tree pruning, and controlling weeds, pests, and diseases. You have the mechanical aptitude to safely operate and maintain a range of equipment, identify and report safety or maintenance issues, and consistently follow WHS requirements. You are able to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions, maintain accurate work records, and hold a current LR Class driver’s licence for work across the Northern Territory. Must have: C urrent National Criminal History Check: Current Light Rigid (LR) Class driver's licence. Please note: A current National Police Clearance, issued within the last six (6) months , is an essential requirement for this position.
