The development and engagement lead is responsible for continual improvement of the project toolkit, fostering stakeholder relationships and conducting the onboarding/offboarding procedures in Project Delivery Management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The “WHAT” to be delivered Capability and Uplift • Owns the project toolkit of templates and artefacts related to project delivery management in addition to key reports and processes. Acts as a knowledge owner to assist staff in applying the toolkit correctly throughout project delivery. Design and deliver capability-building initiatives and resources to drive continuous improvement, strategic imperatives and upskilling requirements. Conducts regular reviews driving opportunities to continually improve PDM documentation and processes taking into account broader organisational requirements and change. Liaison with the enterprise project management office (EPMO) ensuring project management documentation adheres to governance standards. Acts as a key communication channel between EPMO and the team, attending relevant forums as subject matter expert. Supporting the PDM Leadership team with organisational development needs in line with the enterprise processes, as well as assessing the success of development plans to help employees make the most of learning opportunities. Employee engagement • Develop and deliver PDM onboarding and offboarding activities for new staff and contractors. Drives change activities throughout the PDM team, and across the broader organisation and community where required. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders ensuring queries and concerns are resolved accurately and promptly. Coach and assist line managers in the development of strategies and action plans to improve team engagement and morale. Coach employees on problems affecting processes and RACIS and create processes to improve process gaps. Business Planning • In consultation with the General Manager, PDM, assist in the setting of performance targets and participate in business planning and strategy determinations. Liaising with other managers to ascertain training requirements and resourcing, as well as tracking resources and negotiating contracts. Thinks at the ‘big picture’ level; entertains wide-ranging possibilities in developing a vision for the future work.
