These projects may encompass power generation systems, renewable energy initiatives, distribution network enhancements, protection system upgrades, and similar undertakings. Your Role at a Glance Support early project phases including concept development and options analysis. Prepare business cases and cost estimates to inform investment decisions. Lead contract negotiations and execution in line with financial authority. Manage engineering, construction, and procurement contracts. Oversee scope changes and contract variations. Monitor budgets and manage change requests as needed. Coordinate contractor services and ensure compliance before mobilization. Lead operational readiness and project handover. Report on milestones, risks, and issues to key stakeholders. Ensure adherence to Horizon Power’s project management methodology and maintain project documentation. You Will Have Extensive Industry Experience Across Electricity infrastructure delivery and operations (planning, design, maintenance) Commercial aspects of the energy sector Contract and financial management Project management and operational handover What Sets You Apart Candidates should have a background in business and project delivery, with a mandatory relevant Trade Qualification or a bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related field). A Diploma in Project Management or equivalent experience is essential. Strong understanding of energy systems including renewables, generation, and distribution. Proficient in energy systems planning and financial evaluation principles. In-depth knowledge of renewable energy, generation, and distribution assets. Why Join Us?
