Responsibilities The Solution Architect is responsible for the development of technology solutions and mapping business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure alignment with the enterprise architectural plan. Collaborate to address the concerns of stakeholders, including the immediate team, enterprise architecture, and the business, and deliver fit-for-purpose, robust solutions. Understand business requirements to develop complex engineering solutions across multiple infrastructure technologies (on-premises & cloud). Present and build support for proposed solutions with the business and senior IT stakeholders. Work with other architects to develop a top-down services functional view to deliver an integrated solution. Work with project teams to develop solution designs to realise architecture into delivery solutions. Develop solution architecture, solution design, and other artefacts and present in appropriate architecture forums. Lead discussions with business and technology stakeholders to develop and communicate the Solution Vision and Roadmap. Create solution vision, gather needs and requirements from stakeholders. Develop solution intent capturing fixed and variable solution-level behaviours. Engage with business stakeholders and suppliers to ensure requirements on delivered capabilities are understood. Collaborate with development/ops and core infrastructure services teams to deliver innovative solutions within an agile environment. Architecture Domains Experience in one or more of the following architecture domains: Security, Business, Information/Data, Application. Required skills and experience Essential Criteria : Minimum 5 years of experience working across IT environments in an application design or development role. Extensive experience developing solution architecture for the Microsoft D365 capability. Desirable Criteria : Certifications in TOGAF 9, COBIT 5 Foundation, SAFe, Scrum and/or ITIL v3 Foundation are desirable. Ability to lean in as the technical lead supporting the implementation and monitoring of the solution as it is developed by developers. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong understanding of information processing principles and practices. Demonstrated experience in application and system design and development. Demonstrated experience in designing solutions under AGILE frameworks. Demonstrated experience in facilitating workshops with senior management, technical staff, and business users. Sound knowledge of architecture frameworks and enterprise design tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect). Industry experience in enterprise architecture is desirable. Every application requires addressing selection criteria as part of the submission. At least 5 years of recent experience with Power Platform, D365, Azure Application and Integration Services (60%). Experience working in an agile software development team. (20%). Experience working within large-scale / enterprise environments. (20%).
