Tell me about this role: We are currently looking for an NV1 security cleared Network Solutions Architect to join our team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for producing and/or reviewing Project documentation and supplier deliverables as part of the One Defence Capability System (ODCS) Gate 2 process and Acquisition stages of the project. What will I be doing day to day? Provide architectural support, advice, guidance and additional information as required Participate in the ICT Architecture working group Produce necessary ICT architectural documentation to support System Engineering Design (SED) for the F-AMTS (Future Air Mission Training System) ICT system Participate in SED development activities and workshops Work with Project Engineering Manager to develop the needs and requirements into valid system specifications Analyse vendor design specification, OCD, FPS, and develop technical interface designs that align to Defence patterns Support the development test and evaluation plans to provide traceability of the design Manage the delivery and outcome of industry work packages to ensure it complies with the commonwealth statement of work What sort of skills do I need? Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Software engineering or similar Working knowledge of System Safety and Defence/CASG Policies Strong working knowledge of systems engineering processes within Defence Strong communication skills Process orientated with good attention to detail Hold a minimum NV1 security clearance (must be an Australian citizen) What’s in it for me?
