About the role: As the Risk Transformation Manager at Australian Retirement Trust, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering key risk transformation initiatives across the organisation. Reporting to the General Manager – Risk Transformation, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to uplift risk maturity, embed best practice frameworks, and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Key aspects of the role include: Lead the coordination and delivery of risk transformation initiatives aligned to strategic objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business. Prepare reports and make recommendations to support risk transformation activities. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagements to drive change. Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to design and implement refreshed risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures. Provide practical advice and guidance on risk management issues. Direct continuous improvement activities to increase capability and efficiency. Lead change management activities and foster a culture of innovation. Gather and integrate feedback from stakeholders to inform risk transformation efforts. Ensure updated practices and processes meet best practice and regulatory requirements. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract based in either Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne. About you: It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: Deep experience in risk management, with a strong background in risk transformation within regulated financial services (ideally superannuation). Proven ability to support and lead change management or transformation initiatives. Strong understanding of audit standards, risk management frameworks, and regulatory requirements High integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate and respond to emerging risks. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and challenge at senior levels. Analytical mindset with strong decision-making skills and the ability to assess complex risk scenarios. Commercially savvy, understanding the balance between risk and opportunity to support sustainable outcomes.
