We are seeking a passionate and motivated new Graduate to join our highly experienced multidisciplinary team of child and family practitioners. This team delivers DFHH-funded programs, including Integrated Family Services, Parenting Education Services, and Parenting Assessment and Skill Development. About the Role In this role, you will work closely with children and families to provide practical support to Parenting and Services Practitioners in delivering case management and parenting education. You will assist parents in developing positive parenting skills and strategies, observe and assess family strengths and needs, and contribute to the creation and implementation of support plans. With guidance from the case manager, you will help families achieve identified goals, assess risk and safety, and ensure that all actions reflect the best interests of the child. You will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and external service providers to deliver a coordinated and responsive service. The role involves maintaining accurate and confidential records, entering required data, and actively contributing to team and alliance meetings. You will follow Warrnambool City Council’s values, policies, and Child Safe Standards, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism while engaging with families and supporting continuous improvement within the Child and Family Services Unit. The Benefits This is a casual position and currently offers an hourly rate of $44.87 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading).
