Team Overview The Information Management (IM) unit is part of Comcare's Technology and Information Management (TAIM) team and plays a critical role in supporting the agency's information governance and digital business objectives. The unit is responsible for the administration of Comcare's electronic document and records management systems, including SharePoint, and provides strategic and operational support for records management across the organisation. This includes developing and maintaining information architecture, delivering user training and support, ensuring compliance with legislative and policy requirements, and enabling effective information lifecycle management across all information holdings, digital and physical. The IM unit works collaboratively with business areas and external service providers to ensure that Comcare's information assets are well-managed, discoverable, and secure, supporting transparency, accountability, and informed decision-making. The key duties of the position include The Information Management Data Analyst is responsible for providing advice and guidance to Comcare's information management functions. This role acts as a critical advisor to support team members in delivery of business-as-usual operations and ongoing enhancements as the organisation develops its records and information management maturity. Key Responsibilities: Co-administer the SharePoint Records Management Hub, including user support, training, and system development. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure records and information management needs are met in new and existing initiatives. Monitor compliance, conduct audits, and analyse SharePoint usage and records performance to drive continuous improvement. Support the migration from CM10 to SharePoint within the next 12 months. Contribute to long-term initiatives aimed at enhancing Comcare's records and information management maturity. Desirable qualifications and experience Formal qualifications or 5 years' relevant experience in Records and Information Management, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related discipline Experience in digital transformation projects, including migration from legacy systems (e.g. CM10 to SharePoint.) Membership in professional bodies, such as RIMPA, DAMA Australia, or the Australian Society of Archivists
