This is a Legal Counsel role with LendLease based in NSW, AU LendLease Role Seniority - mid level More about the Legal Counsel role at LendLease We are currently seeking a lawyer to join our Sydney based in-house legal team within the Lendlease Construction business. In this busy and rewarding role you will be a key source of knowledge to the business providing strategic and commercially astute legal advice and represent the business externally to government and private clients, subcontractors and consultants. With an incredibly strong pipeline of projects, you will be heavily involved in the end to end of a project lifecycle. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Legal, you will partner with internal and external stakeholders, including the Construction Executive Management Team, to provide proactive, strategic and quality legal advice across the full lifecycle of a project: from project inception, tendering, conversion, through to project mobilisation and delivery (including support with issue / dispute management). A tertiary education in law and post-qualification legal experience including exposure to a variety of major projects within the construction sector will be essential. You will ideally have worked for a well-respected firm or top tier construction group. Experience in construction and relevant ancillary legal areas including commercial law, litigation and insolvency will be preferred.
