In less than two years, we have grown to support over 100 participants and have just expanded to our second hub. We offer a range of programs across employment, tertiary education, independent living, and community participation. About the Animal Care Pathways Program One of our most successful and exciting programs is Animal Care Pathways. This is a one-of-a-kind, 20-week program (two days per week on Thursday & Friday) designed for participants with a passion for animals who want to explore career pathways, gain confidence, and build the foundational knowledge required for further study or work. It is not a TAFE qualification, but a unique stepping stone that opens doors. The program was created to remove barriers for young adults with disability who aspire to work or study in the animal care industry but struggle with confidence, networks, or experience. The impact so far has been remarkable: Participants have progressed to Certificate II and III in Animal Care. Others have secured work experience placements in the industry. Co-Hive has built strong relationships with animal care providers, making the sector more inclusive and accessible.
