We are looking for a Permanent Full-Time Assistant Category Manager to support key aspects of the buying function and the execution of our category strategy. You'll support Category Managers to deliver strategy across a portfolio by managing pricing, product range, and promotions in our retail stores. Your work will help drive growth and profitability, while building strong supplier and stakeholder relationships. Key Responsibilities Support category performance reporting, including sales, profitability, and waste analysis. Collaborate with Category Managers/Buyers to drive range, pricing, promotions, and strategic decision-making. Analyze market data and trends to identify opportunities for category growth and improvement. Assist with forecasting for promotional programs and stock management for direct-to-store suppliers. Participate in lookback analysis of promotions and assist in developing new promotional strategies. Support effective supplier relationship management, including invoicing and tracking supplier income. Ensure clear communication with our retail stores to enable excellent execution of category plans. Assist in managing the price file and contributing to category-specific planograms and layout optimization. Contribute to projects within the merchandise team that align with business strategy and growth.
