The Works Preparer is responsible for coordinating, estimating, and supporting all works preparation activities required to prepare the short term works plan (0-3 months) for delivery. Liaising with a variety of key stakeholder the Works Preparer will ensure all planned and unplanned maintenance, capital replacement, defect and other works are fully planned and coordinated prior to the date of delivery. Why work with Evoenergy: Salary starting at $121,560 16% Superannuation Free gym membership onsite physio Ongoing, full time position Key responsibilities: Perform all Works Preparation duties in accordance with the Scheduling and Works Preparation standardised processes using common systems (Cityworks) and tools. Manage the short-term plan workflow inclusive of scoping, estimate, package and coordinate all works delivered via the Integrated Works Plan. Perform any desktop scoping and the allocation of field scoping activities (to PDLs) as part of the works preparation process. Review field scoping from PDLs to finalise the preparation of the job and ensure there is sufficient information to fully prepare the job for delivery. Develop and co-ordinate the Works Preparation Checklists (the full list of all the works preparation tasks that need to be completed before that job can be delivered, including the lead time for each task) Other duties within the employee's skill, competence and training. Our ideal candidate: Relevant diplomas, tertiary qualifications or Trade Qualifications such as System Technician, Lineworker are preferred however relevant practical experience will be taken into consideration. Proficiency in problem-solving, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex challenges with innovative and effective solutions Proficiency in use of desktop applications such as Cityworks and systems and considerable analytical experience in prioritising work. Working understanding of the principles of effective scheduling, planning, work implementation and resource management. Experience in substation design, construction, maintenance and/or Protection in an Electricity Network environment desirable.
