Description We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our Health & Education team and play a key role in supervising the provision of all maintenance across the Bloomfield Hospital site. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Responsibility for the supervision and delivery of all reactive and planned maintenance services and defect correction in accordance with the Maintenance Programs. Monitor and report on contract performance to the Downer Engineering Services Manager Prepare estimates for FF & FE replacement programs or other minor works. Supervise and audit execution of work directions/job requests undertaken by Health Staff and subcontractors to require response time, quality, cost, and legislative requirements. Ensure a safe working environment for colleagues, customers, and the general public. What You’ll Bring Trade Licence or Facilities Management Experience Valid, unrestricted drivers’ licence Experience in the supervision of a team of maintenance trades staff and sub-contractors. Extensive experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and maintenance engineering analysis. This role entails working unsupervised, to deliver a high-quality service. The position therefore requires an individual with the willingness to work flexible hours and the ability to manage their own time, and the time of others, to meet deadlines, including call-back.
