The role will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, lead negotiations & sourcing strategies that will contribute to Acciona's ambition of achieving innovative, responsive, and excellence in the transmission sector. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute strategic sourcing strategies, best practices, and initiatives that support improvements in supplier quality, total cost effectiveness, enhanced service levels, improved coordination, delivery, pricing, lead-times, payment, risk compliance, and other areas as identified. Lead the development, coordination, and execution of complex tenders, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations Deliver accurate procurement reporting, market analysis, and dashboards to inform strategic decision making and continuous improvement Apply risk mitigation strategies for high-value procurements and ensure fair, transparent, and ethical sourcing practices Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and support procurement planning, market briefings, and supplier relationship management Required Skills and Competencies Tertiary level qualifications in relevant discipline preferred but NOT essential 5 years' experience in HV transmission and substation procurement activities Demonstrated experience in planning, preparing, managing and evaluating RFXs (request for tenders, quotes, etc) Background in planning, preparing, negotiating and finalising contracts for execution in both op-ex and capex settings Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
