We are looking for a Senior Quality Control Officer who will apply advanced technical expertise to oversee comprehensive inspection and testing activities across design, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, and operation of remote renewable off-grid power stations and equipment. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will tackle the most complex QC projects - ensuring critical components and systems meet stringent quality standards without direct supervisory responsibilities. This role is a 02/01 roster As the Senior Quality Control Officer, you will be responsible for the: Oversee quality control across multiple projects, functional units or Company Wide initiatives Conduct complex Inspection & Testing by executing and validating inspection plans for high-risk assemblies and custom components in manufacturing and on-site installations. Protocol & Procedure Development by creating and refining advanced QC protocols, sampling plans, and test methods for new products and process changes. Calibration & Data Integrity by ensuring that all QC equipment (gauges, CMMs, test rigs) is calibrated, maintained, and traceable; manage calibration schedules and records. Non-Conformance & Root-Cause Analysis by investigating and documenting complex non-conformances; perform in-depth root-cause analysis and recommend robust CAPA solutions. Cross-Functional Collaboration by partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction, and Operations teams to integrate QC requirements into project plans and resolve technical quality issues. Audit & Compliance Support by supporting internal and external quality audits by preparing test evidence, guiding auditors, and closing findings Be part of the solution As the Quality Assurance Advisor, you will possess Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quality Control, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior technical role. Hands-on experience in renewable energy projects, off-grid power systems, or manufacturing of critical components. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 (or equivalent) standards and industry best practices. Strong leadership and people-management capabilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement—remote and on-site.
