Team Assistant (part-time) About the opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity to join Challenger Investment Management (CIM) as a Team Assistant within our Fixed Income team. Working in a dynamic and professional environment, you’ll provide vital administrative and operational support that enables the team to focus on delivering investment outcomes for our clients. This is a part-time, permanent role (0.8 FTE) , with flexibility on how the hours are worked (across 3, 4, or 5 days per week). Key Responsibilities As a key member of the Fixed Income team, you will: Coordinate calendars for the management team, scheduling meetings, factoring in preparation time, and ensuring stakeholders receive timely communication. Organise domestic and international travel arrangements, including itineraries, bookings and logistics. Process and reconcile Amex statements, invoices and reimbursements. Assist with the preparation of proposals, presentations and investor documents, particularly using PowerPoint, and provide general analytical and administrative project support. Build and maintain strong relationships across the business and with external stakeholders, adapting your style to suit the needs of different individuals and situations. Operations : Support the development of efficient processes and systems for information flow and record keeping. Organise team events and off-sites. Compile, format and quality check board papers and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with Challenger’s style guide. Manage meeting agendas, take minutes and follow up on action items. About you You will be proactive, organised and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll thrive working with a close-knit, high-performing team and demonstrate: Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. A confident and professional communication style. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
