Una Kids Early Learning and Kindergarten is opening a brand-new 127-place childcare centre in Highfields, and we are looking for a passionate, experienced Centre Manager to bring our vision to life. This purpose-built service features 8 light-filled rooms, each fully equipped with brand new furniture and resources to create inspiring learning spaces from day one. At its heart is a breathtaking nature atrium with a grand tree, and an imaginative farm-themed playscape filled with delightful surprises — all designed to spark curiosity and create inspiring learning experiences. As Centre Manager, you will be the driving force behind our new service - leading a team of educators, building strong relationships with families, and ensuring the highest standards of care and education. You will play a key role in shaping the culture and operations of the centre from day one. About Una We are a family-owned, quality-driven organisation with 8 services across Brisbane, Gladstone and the Sunshine Coast, including several rated as Exceeding under the National Quality Standard. We care for children aged six weeks to five years, including an approved Kindergarten program. About you To be successful in this role, you will need: Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved) Previous leadership experience in an early learning or childcare setting Strong understanding of the NQF and EYLF Demonstrated knowledge of safe sleep practices Child Protection and Food Safety certifications, or willingness to obtain Proficiency in Qikkids childcare management software Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills Current Blue Card and First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications A genuine passion for nature-based early childhood education Apply and benefits – At Una, you’re not just joining a workplace - you’re joining a community.
