About the Role As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and young individuals by providing tailored, person-centred support. Whether it’s daily living assistance, emotional guidance, or community engagement, your work will help create a more inclusive and compassionate society. You’ll work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including sleepovers, active nights, weekends, and public holidays. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, individualised support to people with disabilities and young people Assist with personal care, mobility, and skill development Build meaningful connections and provide mentorship and emotional support Support community participation and recreational activities Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans Advocate for customer rights and promote independence Create safe, trauma-informed environments for young people with complex needs What You’ll Need Disability, Home & Living & community Experience in disability, aged care, or family/community services A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, sleep overs, weekends & public holidays What you’ll need Childrens Services Passionate about human rights and creating positive change Empathetic, compassionate, and resilient Excellent communication and teamwork skills Certificate IV in Disability or Child, Youth & Family Intervention (or willingness to obtain) click here to view more details Current First Aid, CPR, Drivers licence & NDIS Worker check or willingness to obtain Availability for 24/7 rostered shifts What you'll need Community 2 years' experience supporting participants with complex care needs. Passionate about human rights and driving positive change. Empathetic, compassionate, and understanding of diverse experiences. Excellent communication skills, with a focus on listening and responding to customer needs. Team player, enthusiastic about collaboration and sharing best practices.
