We are looking for a Head of Sydney Sales and Partnerships on a 12-month fixed term contract. The Head of Sydney Sales and Partnerships is a senior sales leader, responsible for driving revenue across the Sydney advertising market to achieve the State-based sales targets. The role will oversee the full sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and closing, while leading the team to collectively deliver on revenue objectives. THE ROLE We are looking for a commercially minded leader who can build strong relationships with media agencies, direct clients, and long-term brand partners. The Head of Sydney Sales and Partnerships will be responsible for bringing Broadsheet's commercial partnerships to market, creating tailored solutions, and securing meaningful revenue growth from both new and existing clients. Internally, the role will lead the Sydney team on reporting, contribute to product development, and play a key role in the go-to-market strategy and onboarding of new products and initiatives. The role will also provide leadership support when required - stepping in to cover responsibilities during periods of leave, or unavailability of national team members. Key Responsibilities Achieve and exceed quarterly revenue targets through proactive pipeline management and gap planning. Build and maintain strong relationships with key media agencies and direct clients, supported by a clear client engagement strategy. Represent Broadsheet in the Sydney market, enhancing brand visibility, trust and commercial influence. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and take new commercial opportunities to market across BAU and Off Platform. Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing Sydney sales team with a focus on performance, training, and leadership development. Provide National leadership support when required, stepping in during absences or leave. Key Skills 10 years of sales management experience in a media environment, with a focus on digital and branded content partnerships. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and networking abilities. Strong, ongoing relationships with senior contacts at Sydney media agencies and key direct clients. Highly organised, with excellent prioritisation, time management, and multi-tasking skills. Strategic thinker with a solutions-focused mindset and the ability to overcome obstacles. Deep understanding of agency structures and media planning/buying cycles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skilled in conflict management and resolution. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel. Competent in building sales responses, particularly using Canva. Experience managing and using CRM platforms effectively.
