Job Title: Solution Architect Contract: Maximum 6 months (supporting a multi-year program) Location: Melbourne Clearance: Australian Citizenship and Baseline Security Clearance required About the Role We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support the design and delivery of a major healthcare solution. This role will work within a collaborative design team, ensuring alignment with predetermined architectures and contributing to the integration of diverse healthcare systems. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Solution Lead, Systems Engineers, and Integration Developers to deliver the system. Analyse functional and non-functional requirements across healthcare domains including Patient Care, Allied Health, Dental Care, Dispensing, Telemedicine, and other specialist disciplines. Participate in requirement elaboration workshops with healthcare vendors and Federal Government representatives. Produce solution design artefacts such as sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, and API schema to support healthcare systems integration. Support System Engineers in implementing design artefacts and engaging in change review boards. Provide architectural guidance to System Engineers and Integration Developers, including support for verification and validation activities. What You'll Bring Extensive experience in software development and solution architecture, with a strong background in designing complex, integrated solutions. Strong knowledge of health data protocols (HL7v2, FHIR) and data formats (JSON, XML). Proven experience in systems integration and API development. Skilled in producing high-quality technical documentation. Degree in Engineering/ICT (or equivalent); TOGAF 9 and ITIL v3 certifications desirable.
