About the work unit / facility: The Pharmacy Department at the Townsville University Hospital is seeking Pharmacists with varied experience to fill future vacancies. The successful candidate may be required to provide pharmacy services across 7-days (Monday to Sunday) to designated work units. Competitive salary and benefits: Salary range: $4912.70 to $5286.40 per fortnight (HP4) Salaray range: $64.64 to $69.55 per hour (HP4) 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading. About your opportunity: Deliver a high level of professional client focused pharmacy service and leadership within an evidence-based, quality, and multidisciplinary health care environment during periods of recreation leave or temporary vacancy within the Pharmacy's Medical Team. This role may include participation in the clinical weekend roster. Promote safe, effective, and efficient use of medicines in keeping with the department's goals and objectives and mission statements for Townsville University Hospital and Health Service. Requirements: Possession of a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a recognised tertiary institution (or equivalent). Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). A health-related post-graduate qualification and/or enrolment in the SHPA residency program are desirable. This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role. A probationary period may apply.
