OVERVIEW: Our client is a dynamic, multi-disciplined property development company with projects nationwide. Specialising in hotels, accommodation and lifestyle villages, their in-house construction division is seeking an experienced Work Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to lead safety initiatives across a diverse portfolio. This role will see you design and manage WHS systems that not only ensure compliance but also build a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include: Develop and implement WHS management systems suited to construction and property development. Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and regulatory requirements across QLD, SA, and NSW. Lead and manage WHS audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations. Support Site Managers in using digital platforms for safety reporting and documentation. Drive a culture of safety awareness and innovation across all project teams. Deliver training, coaching, and practical guidance to staff on WHS best practice. Work with Project Managers and stakeholders to integrate WHS into project planning and delivery. CRITERIA: Extensive experience managing WHS within the construction industry. Proven background supporting property development projects. MUST have experience with high rise residential or commercial projects. Strong capability in developing and embedding WHS systems. Practical experience with One Bread Crumb and Procore platforms (desirable). Solid understanding of WHS legislation across QLD, SA, and NSW. Formal qualifications in Work Health and Safety (or a related field).
