Mornington Island Hospital is a remote Level 2 hospital under the Rural and Remote Clinical Services Capability Framework. The facility provides 24-hour acute inpatient and accident and emergency care. Staffing consists of a medical officer and registered nurses on each shift 24 hours a day, with administration support, cleaners and maintenance workers. Mornington Island Hospital consists of 8 general medical beds and 4 Emergency department beds. Mornington Island is home to some world-renowned Indigenous Artist. We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse (CN) to bring advanced clinical expertise, strong problem-solving, and exceptional planning and coordination skills to our team. In this role, you will: Provide high-quality care for patients, residents, and clients with complex mental health needs, Deliver a wide range of drug and alcohol services to individuals, families, groups, and the wider community, Ensure the highest standards of clinical practice are met.
