This role will see you working on significant HV projects across the Northern Territory, where your skills will make a real impact. About The Role This position requires a highly skilled electrician with High Voltage expertise. You will be focused on installation, commissioning, fault-finding, and maintenance of high voltage systems across both overhead and underground networks, as well as substations. The goal is to ensure safety, reliability, and quality outcomes across major projects. The main duties are: Install, joint, terminate and test HV cables. Commission and maintain HV substations and associated equipment. Carry out inspections, construction, and repair of HV electrical infrastructure. Undertake HV fault-finding, testing, and repair work. Coordinate and support HV crews in both project and maintenance works. Ensure compliance with all HSE requirements and network standards. Skills and Experiences: Certificate III Electrotechnology (Electrician). Proven HV experience - cable jointing, substation terminations, commissioning. Current industry licences/tickets: EWP, Dogging, C2 crane, Working at Heights, Confined Space, White Card, CPR/LVR. Sound knowledge of HV network standards, codes, and safe work practices.
