To support this expansion, they are seeking a proactive and commercially minded HR Generalist to join their Melbourne team. The Opportunity This is a broad and hands-on role where you'll partner closely with leaders and employees to deliver HR initiatives that support both people and business success. You'll be involved in everything from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, learning & development, remuneration & benefits, and HR operations. Key Responsibilities Partner with leaders to deliver practical HR advice and solutions aligned to business goals. Coach and guide managers on leadership, performance management, and employee relations. Lead and support workplace investigations, grievances, and employee relations matters to ensure fair, compliant, and timely resolution. Oversee HR processes including contracts, compliance, remuneration & benefits, and HR administration. Support initiatives across learning & development, engagement, wellbeing, and recognition. Manage end-to-end recruitment and ensure an engaging onboarding experience. Assist with change management, restructures, and succession planning. Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture. About You Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Demonstrated operational HR experience in a commercial or corporate environment. Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation (Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, WHS). Proven experience managing employee relations matters, including performance, grievances, and investigations. Ability to coordinate and improve onboarding to enhance employee experience. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. Commercially minded, with the ability to link HR practices to business outcomes. Organised, proactive, and comfortable operating in a hands-on operational HR function.
