We are currently seeking a Yard Hand / Trade Assistant with Forklift License on behalf of our client, a well-established business with a busy workshop environment based in Blacktown/Seven Hills . Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm Pay Rate: $35 - $38 per hour Super The Role As a Yard Hand/Trade Assistant , you will play a key part in supporting service technicians and the wider team. Your work will help ensure the workshop and yard are well-organised, clean, and compliant with safety standards. This role suits someone who enjoys variety and is confident working in a practical, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist technicians and mechanics with day-to-day tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workshop, yard, and office areas. Manage and restock spare parts, consumables, and cleaning supplies. Dispose of workshop waste in line with safety procedures. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning/organisational routines. Monitor stock levels and support inventory management. Carry out ad-hoc duties as directed by the Service Manager. About You Reliable and proactive with a strong work ethic. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Physically fit and comfortable performing manual tasks. Safety-conscious with attention to detail. Previous experience in a similar role (workshop, yard, or trade support) highly regarded.
