Your Opportunity: Our client, a rapidly scaling software company headquartered in Melbourne with a growing international presence, is seeking a highly capable and proactive Personal Assistant. This is a 3 month Temp-to-Perm opportunity with genuine scope for career growth. About the role: This is a hands-on and varied position where no two days are the same. You’ll be the go-to support for the CEO, ensuring his schedule, priorities, and communications run seamlessly. Alongside this, you’ll play a key role in keeping the Melbourne office running smoothly and supporting recruitment, onboarding, and events. This role will suit someone who enjoys autonomy, can anticipate needs before they arise, and has a sharp eye for detail. Reporting into the Chief of Staff your key responsibilities are: Provide high-level executive support to the CEO, including inbox and calendar management Draft correspondence and communications on behalf of the CEO Coordinate domestic and international travel, accommodation, and logistics Support recruitment processes, from job postings to interview scheduling Assist with onboarding new employees and coordinating office IT/equipment Manage office supplies, procurement, and facilities needs Plan and deliver team events, leadership meetings, and staff functions Act as the point of contact for clients, staff, and external stakeholders Your Profile: Our client is looking for someone who is organised, confident, and thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment. You’ll need to be comfortable supporting a high-profile CEO with exacting standards while also being willing to “roll up your sleeves” and get things done. You will have: Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or EA (startup or professional services background highly regarded) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy – you’re the one who catches the small errors others miss Strong judgement and ability to work autonomously, making proactive decisions Tech-savvy with experience using tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Notion (or similar) Confidence managing multiple stakeholders, including senior executives and clients A resilient and adaptable mindset – ready to grow with the business What's in it for me?
