About the Centre Lady Ramsay Early Learning and Education Centre is Government work based early education Centre specifically catering for the children of the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital & Queensland Health staff members. About the team Our team is made up of Educators from diverse backgrounds, ages and cultures and we work extremely well together. Our team members are kind, thoughtful, caring and very respectful of each other and we are looking for someone who shares these same values. About our community The children, families, and hospital community that we care for, are a joy to work with. The children are kind, they have a love for learning, and we constantly receive comments about how caring and well behaved the children are when we have visitors to the Centre or are out in the community on excursions. All Centre staff and families are employed by Queensland Health, the community is respectful and supportive of one another and the role each of our positions play to provide the best patient outcomes for the hospital and the community. About the positions The successful applicants will be employed by Queensland health. Along with an above award wage rate, many other financial benefits are offered including salary sacrifice to lower your taxable income, additional Super contributions that can be salary sacrificed above the salary cap and additional leave entitlements. The Centre is open 50 weeks of the year from 6am to 6:15pm and shift times vary and can be negotiated. Professional development opportunities are supported and encouraged. Non-contact time for programming and staff training are allocated weekly. Programming and activity preparation is completed during working hours to support work/life balance. All educators are allocated a 20-minute morning tea and 30-minute lunch break which is backfilled. Small group sizes in all classrooms. Unique Kindergarten program, incorporating small group rotations with focuses on all learning outcomes. Additional Educators to support classrooms during busy times throughout the day.
