The opportunity will involve providing administrative assistance to the National Business Services team, particularly, the Quality & Customer Service Manager, to ensure the efficient running of business operations. Whilst we would prefer someone with insurance/claims management experience, we are open to hearing from you if you do not have a claims or insurance background; essentially, we are looking for customer service/retail/call-centre superstars who are open to learning the fundamentals of insurance (on the job) and have the mindset of building a career in insurance. Please note that the internal position title is Business Services Administrator. In addition, you will be thorough, analytical and be able to make rational decisions in a fast-paced environment and be happy to always go the extra mile Key Requirements Exceptional customer service skills High attention to detail, organised and highly skilled in prioritising Excellent verbal and written communication skills Previous experience in claims/general insurance environment (desirable) Thorough knowledge of insurance terminology, practices and conditions (desirable) Key Responsibilities Efficient and accurate data entry, typing of reports, correspondence and other documents. Claim lodgement and registration Monitor and manage dedicated mail inboxes Update Claims Management System as required Provide limited claims handling as required Answer incoming calls promptly Respond to client & insured queries via telephone and email.
