Description Job description As a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Tech) you will work with our Global team of Talent Partners and specialists to ensure ELMO has the optimal resource profiles for its current and long-term needs. In this 6 month contract role Your primary purpose is to deliver proactive recruitment services across our Product, Infrastructure, Engineering, DevOps teams that align with business demand, in line with the Talent Acquisition Strategy. In this role, you'll be the subject matter expert for recruitment within the Technology & Product domain. You will manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for assigned roles, from initial approval to offer. This includes championing a proactive, search-based model and developing a strategic sourcing strategy that includes talent pipelines, market intelligence, and competitor mapping to mitigate succession gaps. You'll build strong, consultative relationships with hiring managers and other HR stakeholders, coaching them on best practices for resourcing, interviewing, and selection. You will also play a key role in promoting diversity and inclusion, driving awareness of unconscious bias, and working with the wider People & Culture team to improve hiring capabilities. Additional responsibilities include: Creating job descriptions and interview questions that align with ELMO’s values and competency framework. Personally assessing candidates for competence, cultural fit, and motivation. Managing talent communities on platforms like LinkedIn. Handling all administration in relation to recruitment: background checks, visa eligibility, and drafting offer letters to ensure a seamless onboarding experience. Ensuring compliance with ELMO policies, procedures, and relevant anti-discrimination laws. Some project work as required. Skills And Experiences Skills and Experience A relevant Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Minimum of 4 years end to end recruitment experience in either external or internal recruitment. 2 years working specifically in Tech Recruitment (essential). Experienced in behavioural interviewing, writing interview guides and presenting shortlists Utilisation job boards like LinkedIn, Indeed or Seek. Proactive Recruitment - identifying and pipelining for all recruitment needs. Partnering with your stakeholder group effectively and providing support and market insights as a service Familiarity with HR databases and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) software. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of audiences. A resourceful, politically savvy, and flexible professional with a strong drive to achieve desired outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform complex functions, establish priorities, and resolve issues independently. Role models behaviours of collaboration, respect, accountability, and confidentiality. Ideally, you have full unlimited working rights in AU, with no restrictions. Please note this role is a 6 month, fulltime, fixed term contract and you must be located in Sydney to be considered for this role.
