What you will do Supervise the day-to-day activities of a machining team to ensure smooth throughput. Train and mentor new employees, reinforcing standards and continuous improvement. Monitor quality and processes to meet internal specifications and customer expectations. Build schedules, assign work, and adjust priorities to meet deadlines. Host regular team meetings to communicate objectives, updates, and feedback. Enforce safety guidelines and drive a proactive safety culture. Partner with management to identify process enhancements and implement them. Track production metrics and document team performance accurately. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications are beneficial. Background in a manufacturing or production environment with leadership responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and build accountable teams. Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Effective decision-maker under pressure with solid problem-solving skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and practical application on the floor. Comfortable with computers and production-related software tools. Available for flexible hours and overtime when needed.
