The Lifestyle/ Wellbeing Assistant supports development and delivery meaningful activities to enhance the wellbeing and lifestyle of our residents About the opportunity We welcome a qualified full-time enthusiastic Wellbeing Assistant to join our team to work at Mercy Place Dandenong. Support the delivery of holistic wellbeing programs that promote engagement and social connection Provide individualized one-on-one support for residents Assist with assessments and care plan reviews to ensure wellbeing needs are met Collaborate with clinical staff to support residents' overall wellbeing Create memorable experiences—whether it’s outings, social events, or unique activities such as a game, lunch at the local pub, or a scenic helicopter joy flight over Phillip Island What you’ll bring You’re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart. To thrive in this role, you will have: Support the delivery of lifestyle and wellbeing programs Provide one-on-one support for residents Review and evaluation of wellbeing care plans and assessments Provide an exceptional stakeholder experience Work collaboratively with clinical staff to ensure residents wellbeing needs are being met Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations 2025 Influenza Vaccination NDIS Check Proof of eligibility to work in Australia You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
