Spread Joy (and Ice Cream!) to Elderly Residents in Care We’re looking for a friendly volunteer to help push our ice cream trolley and brighten the day of elderly residents living in care. It’s a simple gesture that brings big smiles—offering sweet treats and friendly chats as you go from room to room. This is a lovely opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with older people, bringing joy through small moments, and doesn't mind a bit of walking (and maybe the occasional ice cream!). Just an hour or two a week can make a world of difference. Come be part of something meaningful—and fun! Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need.
